The scene opens with a shot of the Travel Tavern lift doors and you can hear Alan singing the Kate Bush song, “Wuthering Heights” on his way down to reception:

Alan:

Susan:

Alan:
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. That is extraordinary. I mean. To look at you, you’d think you’d sing like and angel. But in actual fact you sound like a trapped boy.
